At any rate, if you get the chance, I'd love to hear about what brought you to my journal, who you are, and what you're into.  I've posted this meme so that you can get to know a little more about me...please keep in mind that all comments are screened, and all flamers will be banished forever.

01) Are you currently in a serious relationship?

Yes.  I'm engaged to my fiance, Nobuyuki.  We've been together for a year and a half.  He's the love of my life.  I'm very luck to have him!

02) What was your dream growing up?

I always wanted to be a performer.  Singing was my first love, dancing was my second, and acting was my third...now I don't know what I love best, but I never dreamed I'd be a writer.  That was a late-life dream that appeared only recently (in the past four years).

03) What talent do you wish you had?

I wish I could draw!  But I suck at it so hard.  I have a lovely sense of color, though...too bad I can't even draw a stick figure.

04) If I bought you a drink what would it be?

Alcoholic:  A lovely Pinot Noir (i.e. Dyed-in-the-Wool)
Non: A crisp Ginger Ale or a fancy bottled water

05) Favorite vegetable?

Broccoli/Peas (there's just no way I can choose)

06) What was the last book you read?

Winterwood by Patrick McCabe.  Chilling tale.  Really well-written.  Confusing and disturbing as all hell.  Try it!

07) What zodiac sign are you?

Pisces (don't I know it!)

08) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.

Two piercings in each ear, never wear earrings.  No tatts.  Boring like vanilla, eh?

09) Worst Habit?

Either biting my nails or sitting with my shoulders slumped.  I just know I'll turn into Quasimodo one day.   

10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?

WHO ARE YOU, STRANGER???

11) What is your favorite sport?

I'm seriously laughing so hard I can't breathe.  That's a good one.  Is sex a sport?

12) Do you have a Pessimistic or Optimistic attitude?

I have a curious mixture of both.

13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?

I don't know.  WHO ARE YOU???  Depending on how creepy/un-creepy you were, I'd either find a weapon in my purse to use against you or cry on your shoulder because of our predicament.

14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?

Like I could possibly pick one "worst"?  It pretty much sucked when...wait, that's too personal.  Let's try non-personal...how about that time my car got broken into?   That sucked .  Losing my passport/wallet/ID/credit cards/money/cell phone really took its toll.

15) Tell me one weird fact about you.

I do really BIZARRE voices.  You don't even want to know.  Let's just say that I like to make noise in lots of different, strange, crazy, scary ways.  Luckily, my fiance seems to think this makes me more appealing instead of less.  Go figure.  *shakes head*

16) Do you have any pets?

No, but I have future pets.  Buster the Golden Retriever (my fiance wants that one), Porky the Pig (he wants that one, too), and there was one more but it was so ludicrous I've banished the memory.

17) What if I showed up at your house unexpectedly?

You wouldn't be able to get inside, because the apartment complex door has a special key and only I can open it! MWAHAHAHA!

18) What was your first impression of me?

I'm getting tired of repeating myself.  WHO THE HELL ARE YOU AND HOW DO YOU PRESUME TO KNOW ME???

19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary?

*blood-curdling scream*  Get those things away from me!

20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?

I hate this question.  But in the spirit of fun...I suppose I would make my nose normal again so that it isn't crooked anymore (those footballs really do come out of nowhere).

21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?

Totally depends on the crime, dude.  MAIS QUI EST-CE?

22) What color eyes do you have?

Blue/green/grey/yellow  (they change all the time)

23) Ever been arrested?

No, but a female cop slammed me on the ground after I had sustained an injury to my head in an auto accident.  Then she threw me in the back of the squad car and made me sit there for a half hour.  I guess she's into S&M?

24) Bottle or can soda?

Bottle, though I don't drink soda but on occasion.

25) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it?

I have no idea.  Ask me again when I've won it.  I tell you what I WOULDN'T do--give it to the government.

27) What's your favorite place to hang out?

My apartment, because it's cosy...but as far as outside places go...the library.  I'm a nerd through-and-through.

28) Do you believe in ghosts?

There is one haunting me right now.  (S)he won't tell me who (s)he is, but apparently (s)he's pretty mischievous. 

29) Favorite thing to do in your spare time?

Sing!  And write songs!  And then sing them!

30) Do you swear a lot?

I swear a lot more on the page than in real life, but I do have my reality R-rated moments. 

31) Biggest pet peeve?

Stupid, closed-minded people who can't see past their own pile of bullshit.

32) In one word, how would you describe yourself?

Nuts.

33) Do you believe/appreciate romance?

Oh, I believe.  And I used to be agnostic.  But true love happened to me, and now I'm a sucker for all things romantic.  

34) Favorite and least favorite food?

Favorite: Japanese cuisine (especially sushi, though I LOVE their other stuff, too)
Least favorite: Pot pie.  So delicious on the way in, so disgusting when you're wearing it.

35) Do you believe in God?

I believe in powers higher than myself.  But I also believe that I create my own path, though certain parts of it may be predestined.  Fate is a powerful force.
